Some reactions by children at the youth center to my Halloween costume (the 11th Doctor from Doctor Who):

Little Boy: Are you supposed to be the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln?

Me: No but I’m glad that you know who he is.

Little Girl: Are you supposed to be a geek?

Me: No, I already am a geek.

Little Girl (dressed as a fairy in all black): What are you supposed to be? Some kind of dancing monkey?

Me: What are you supposed to be, a horsefly?

Little Girl: NO! You have a monkey’s face. I don’t have a horse face!

Me: I dunno, your face looks a little long to me.

Little Girl: What’s with the bow tie?

Me: Bow ties are cool.
